Which Power is yours?
Which Power is yours?
Talks with our technical sales team will not end after the three-day event, but will remain active for TEX AUTOMATION 365 days a year.
There are 16 steps in the application path, which initially highlights 2 possible options, according to the programming code:
POWER IEC _ the international standard for PLC IEC 61131-3 programming
POWER TEX _ proprietary structured language.
The evolutions presented at SPS ITA relate to the whole POWER platform, regardless of the code.
Hardware:
All our controllers will be available to visitors, starting from the TOP of the range control, POWER A, designed for the most complex applications in the field of automation, all the way to the PLC+HMI controller with integrated ” Motion Control ” functions POWER Z, compatible with process industry applications.
Among others, we offer compact controls with good calculation capacity such as POWER I and more specifically POWER W, designed to reduce the costs of the electric panel, where development requires use of a broad range of very different I/O modules to be integrated.
Firmware:
In the APRIL 2025 version of the firmware, which facilitates EtherCAT network monitoring and diagnostics, the new functions are “wired” into the device, and do not require external tools and/or the addition of codes/libraries in order to be used.
1. display the status of tasks (running, suspended, sleeping) and the load assigned to each of them.
2. The technician can check whether the system is vulnerable to disturbances, building up a map of the errors detected. No specific information technology knowledge is required.
3. Detect one or more slaves that, even for just a few milliseconds, do not respond to the frame sent by the master. The presence of false contacts in the network wiring can be tested, or whether a device is not operating properly.
This information can be used in the following ways:
a-text windows
b-the data is associated with the system info, to allow management via PLC application software
c-web server so that remote diagnostics are also possible
d-source code written in C# so that the characteristics can be integrated in the customer’s application software.
Application software:
Our technicians are ready to interact with visitors, and thanks to the various application software templates fitted on the POWER stations you will be able to get a feel for the specific experience that TEX has developed over more than 40 years working in a wide range of sectors.
Tools:
We have paid great attention to the tools needed to create the graphic part of the operator interface.
Our POWER box can be connected to a TEX display (all in one or remote controlled) but it can also be used in combination with a third party PC or HMI PANEL.
There are three dedicated stations to check the characteristics of TEX P_Lab and HMI design tools, selected according to the interface used, regardless of the programming language selected.
Display:
It will also be possible to define the display characteristics most adapted to the area of application, selecting from among the wide range of solutions shown here with the aim of defining your ideal Power.
It will be our great pleasure to welcome you to the Tex Automation exhibition space, discover your needs and discuss new projects.
We look forward to meeting you!
